Doug Ashy Building Materials has been Acadiana’s premier building supply company since 1960. The people at Encompass have been our computer support professionals since we made the move to Windows NT Server in 1997.

And they really are professionals. They return our calls promptly (within minutes) and can often troubleshoot the problem over the phone. On those occasions when a phone call doesn’t cut it, they are usually here within the hour and have the problem fixed shortly thereafter. They don’t mind spending a few minutes with us explaining what went wrong and why, so that we can try to avoid similar problems in the future. And they speak in language we can understand.

The people at Encompass have done everything from installing our Fast Ethernet network and network laser printer to troubleshooting problems with our accounting package. They’ve helped us bulletproof our systems too. For example, they set up system-wide policies restricting unauthorized access to administrative features on client machines and automated our backups.

But service isn’t all that Encompass provides. We recently purchased a new workstation from them that was much less than the cross-town competitor’s price. In fact, we get consistently great deals on hardware and software we purchase from Encompass.
