Withers has more than 24 years experience developing C, C++, SmallTalk, Visual Basic^®, and database applications on a variety of operating systems including UNIX, Windows^® 95, Windows^® NT^® Windows^® 2000^® and Windows^® XP^®. He has been a systems administrator for several Unix and Windows^® NT^® networks, and currently administers many Windows^® 2000^® and Windows^® 2003^® networks for companies throughout Acadiana. He is a Microsoft^® Certified Systems Engineer, a Microsoft^® Certified Database Administrator, and a Microsoft^® Certified Solution Developer.

Withers has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics from Skidmore College in upstate New York, as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He is a member of the Dartmouth Society of Engineers and is the patent holder for U.S. Patent No. 5,863,202.  He is the proud father of William Zachary "Zack" Withers, born 11/10/99, and Samantha Claire "Sam" Withers, born 7/19/01.
